LED Handrail

The award winning HLS is an LED handrail lighting system featuring a series of threaded stainless steel or anodised aluminium minipucks inserted flush into straight or curved handrail pipe, square sections or flat metallic surfaces. Each minipuck contains a 140 lumens* Cree LED of the highest efficiency, optically controlled to provide an oval shaped beam with a sharp cut-off designed to obtain maximum illumination with a high degree of uniformity, minimal glare, light spill or wasted light.

Clever engineering and design give the minipuck a light output of over 130 lumens, and an impressive luminous efficiency of over 80 lumens/ watt.

LED & Driver Technology

All HLS minipucks are equipped with innovative shunt technology designed to localise unlikely failures to a single LED, thus protecting series integrity.

Colour Temperature & CRI

The minipuck is available in CCT between 2700K and 5300K with a maximum efficacy of 75 lumens/watt. For warmer colour temperatures (2700K-3200K) a CRI of 85 is available.

RGB minipucks and control options are available for custom applications.

Public Lighting

Most of the HLS installations to date are in public areas - one of the main reasons for this is the minipuck's vandal resistance.

The threading locking mechanism of the HLS minipuck as well as a unique tool required for insertion and removal deters opportunistic vandalism.
